The Knight, Death and the Devil by George Sfougaras (2018)

To mark this anniversary, Leicester Museum and Galleries is displaying this work by George Sfougaras – his reinterpretation of an Albrecht Dürer engraving from the 16th Century.

The work is accompanied by new interpretation from the artist, who will also be delivering two artist’s talks at Leicester Museum and Art Gallery on Sat 25th Jan and Thu 30th Jan - both are ticketed events.

The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust’s theme for this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day is "For a Better Future”. Events this year are focusing on bringing people together to learn both from, and about, the past in order to make a better future for all.
