About the Tutor
Alex Cooper is a portrait and figurative painter working largely in oils.
Alex says "The landscape of the face and human form are my inspiration and I hope to bring something to a painting that will allow the viewer to make up their own mind about the sitter's thoughts at the time. The 'ordinary' fascinates me and if possible I like to inject a bit of humour when the subject allows."
Alex is a member of LSA and Leicester Sketch Club. Read more about Alex Cooper.
