This photography exhibition documents the streets leading away from the one-mile stretch of Melton Road that turns into Belgrave Road with its sari shops, Indian restaurants and jewellers.

Local artist Kavi Pujara has documented the people and homes of the residents surrounding this famous road as a love letter to the area and its community. Intimate portraits combined with sensitively observed interiors tells the story of this community's migration to Leicester, their last mile of a long journey to Britain.

The exhibition previewed at the Martin Parr Foundation, Bristol in 2022.
