Event Description

Explore German Expressionism through sound and haptic movement with artist Les Hayden.

Using apps which generate sound through touch, you’ll create a musical composition to the artworks of Franz Marc, Wassily Kandinsky, Ernst Kirchner and more. You can use your own phone or the iPad available at the workshop. No musical experience is necessary.

If using your own mobile for the workshop, please download the free music apps before attending:

• For iOS users, Seaboard 5D and Nebulous Theremin Synth are the recommended apps.
  For Android users, the recommended app is Plasma Sound.

Headphones will also be useful for the session. If you can bring your own headphones to the session, please do. Headphones will not be provided.

This is a free workshop which is part of Leicester Art Week. Suitable for ages 12+
