Description
Nosferatu Redux is a sound artwork made as a response to the internationally acclaimed German Expressionism collection at Leicester Museum and Art Gallery.
Artist Les Hayden made an original score for the 1922 German Expressionist film ‘Nosferatu’, then deconstructed and rebuilt the sounds to respond to the work in the German Expressionism gallery. The resulting sound artwork explores the parallels between German Expressionist art and filmmaking.
