Leicestershire artist, Rachel Grevatte is working with some of the city’s residents to create the birds inspired by the museum’s collections.
Free Drop-in art workshop
From September 4th 2021, a life size tree of life artwork covered in colourful imagined birds will adorn a wall in the World Arts Gallery at Leicester Museum & Gallery.
Leicestershire artist, Rachel Grevatte is working with some of the city’s residents to create the birds inspired by the museum’s collections.
Would you like to get involved? You can help make the ‘bark’ for the tree at a free drop-in art workshop at the museum.
Everyone welcome. This event is aimed at anyone who would like to get involved.
Thursday 12th August, 11am - 2pm, Leicester Museum & Gallery.
The event is a free drop-in session but you will need to visit the Leicester Museum & Art Gallery page to book free timed tickets to gain entry to the museum. Then come and ‘drop in’ to a session starting in the Victorian Art Gallery.
