Leicester Museum & Art Gallery’s 175th Birthday Party!
Help us celebrate our 175th Birthday with a party. Back in 1849 Leicester Museum first opened it's doors to the public and was one of the first municipal museums in the United Kingdom, which is definitely worth celebrating!
The day will include meeting the baby dinosaurs, and there will also be walkabout animatronic Dinosaur roaming outside the Museum!
There will be free face painting, pass the parcel and make your own Dino keyring!
Please make sure you pre-book Pass the Parcel to avoid disappointment (now fully booked).
Timetable for the Day:
Meet the Baby Dinos: 11.30, 12, 12.30. 1.30. 2pm (roaming)
Animatronic Dino: 1pm (Museum Forecourt)
Pass the Parcel: 12noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm (20 people per slot) (Fully booked)
Make a Dino Keyring: 11am to 3pm (400 keyrings) pick the keyring up from the Dinosaur Gallery and decorate in the refreshment space
Face Painting: 11am - 3pm (The Den)
