Abbey Pumping Station is a world dedicated to industry and technology and has four impressive event spaces.
The stunning beam engine house has four magnificently decorated and restored Gimson steam-powered engines and together with the adjacent electric switch room can host events with up to 80 guests.
Our extensive grounds are ideal for outdoor events and our bespoke marquee, for up to 250 people, and our large paddock area are available for exclusive hire.
The site has basic facilities to enable external caterers to use as a catering base.

Meeting room at Belgrave Hall
Belgrave Hall
Belgrave Hall is a 300-year-old Grade II Listed building and together with its gardens offers an elegant event venue in Belgrave village on the edge of the City.
Ideal for smaller and more intimate events, the range of rooms and spaces in the main Hall can be configured for theatre, boardroom, cabaret or standing events for up to 60 people.
Adjacent to the Hall are two additional spaces, the Old Laundry and Stable Block, and a marquee can be erected in the Gardens for 100 – 150 guests.
The site has a fully fitted kitchen facility to enable external caterers to use as a catering base.

In the heart of Leicester’s Cathedral Quarter, Leicester Guildhall is an event venue with 600 years of history. Built to hold meetings of the Guild of Corpus Christi, it is now a wonderful location for your event or meeting.
All the spaces at Leicester Guildhall including the impressive Great Hall and Mayor’s Parlour with their wood panelling and stained glass windows, are connected via a charming courtyard. Each room can be booked individually or together as a whole site, suitable for up to 300 guests.
Café No. 7 at Leicester Guildhall offers a limited range of food and drinks. The site also has basic facilities to enable external caterers to use as a catering base.

The Lord Mayors Parlour at Leicester Museum & Art Gallery
Leicester Museum & Art Gallery
The Victorian splendour of Leicester Museum & Art Gallery is both fully accessible and located only minutes from Leicester train station.
Your guests will access the museum from the picturesque, pedestrianised New Walk and share the event spaces with objects from our internationally-recognised collections.
Our Victorian Art gallery with its stage and AV system is ideal for presentations, performances and lectures for up to 200 people. Technical equipment and a Steinway grand piano are also available for hire.
Our dramatic Dinosaur Gallery can host up to 120 people who will be wandering under the mighty head of the 15 metre Rutland Dinosaur.
More intimate spaces include the Council Room with its self-catering facilities and the German Expressionism Gallery.
The on-site Museum Cafe offers a range of hospitality menus for wedding and general venue hire bookings. The site has basic facilities to enable external caterers to use as a catering base.

Located in the centre of Leicester’s historic old town and adjacent to the De Montfort University main campus, Newarke Houses offers four gallery spaces and a glorious walled garden which can be used individually or together for a function of up to 300 people.
Perfect for training days, talks and private events, all our event rooms overlook the gardens and can be configured to meet the needs of your event.
