Young Persons Project
Visit Leicester Libraries during Summer 2023 and you can play a brand new game all about Climate Change and its impact on our world. The touchscreen game you can play on this retro arcade kiosk has been created by Leicester Museums & Galleries in collaboration with a group of imaginative young people from Leicester.
The group of young people were involved right from the start of the project and came up with the idea for an interactive game about Climate Change and its impact on our world. The visual design and gameplay development process was guided by the group, who also took part in user testing and feedback to help make the game into a fantastic final product.
Climate Change: Global Manager is a fun way to help children, young people and families learn about the serious reality of climate change. By playing you can find out ways to help reduce your own impact on our precious planet by being in charge of a virtual Earth, and the lifestyle choices that people make in their everyday lives.
What will you decide to do to help Planet Earth be a better place for everyone?
This arcade kiosk will be available for 2 weeks in a number of Leicester Libraries during Summer 2023, from week beginning:
17th - 30th July - Knighton and Evington Libraries
31st - 13th August - Rushey Mead and St Matthews Libraries
14th - 28th August - Hamilton and Westcotes Libraries
Why not come along and try it out, it only takes a few minutes to play!
