Overview
Leicester Museums & Galleries are looking for volunteers to help staff survey museum visitors. The main duties include surveying the general public about their museum visit experience and inputting the survey data.
Most of the surveying takes place at weekends and during the school holidays. The role is very flexible and volunteers are able to select the sessions that suit them best. Volunteers must be happy to approach people and speak to them about their experiences at the museums.
Main duties
Surveying the general public about their experience within the museum and inputting data from visitor surveys.
Skills needed
Engaging with the public to complete questionnaires. Volunteers must have good people skills and an ability to use initiative and own judgement. If you wish to take part in inputting surveys IT literacy is desirable.
Additional information
You need to be 16 or over to volunteer in this role.
