Leicester Stories Gallery is on the ground floor of Leicester Museum and Art Gallery on New Walk. It focuses on the stories and voices of people living in Leicester today - from the 1950s onwards.
The core content was created in 2020-21 with a co-production group of people from our city who selected the exhibition themes and have told their own stories. Leicester residents have also proposed the milestones (events) and people who are featured in the Gallery. Other content has been created by Leicester creatives and artists working with people in the city:
- Jess Green (poem)
- Leonie DuBarry-Gurr (photography)
- ImageNova (film)
