The real and replica objects in this box span the initial settlement of Anglo -Saxons in Britain in the 5th century through to 1066. The period is known not only for its warriors but saw the establishment of a nation and the development of literature, language, art and religion. The box also explores the discovery of highly significant finds at Sutton Hoo and in the Staffordshire Hoard.

The box is available to collect from Leicester Museum & Art Gallery and costs £55.00 for a two-week loan.
