In the early 15^th century Bohemia, modern day Czechia, was undergoing a religious revolution. Demands for an end to papal corruption and increased religious autonomy were met with burnings at the stake. The only course left was rebellion.

This talk will introduce the listener to the often-overlooked revolt of the Hussites and reveal part of European history rarely learned outside of Czechia itself. Learn what the Hussites believed, who their leaders were and the weapons and tactics they used to fight their ultimately successful rebellion that changed the course of Czech history forever.
