In this workshop you will learn the most used macrame knots including the square knot and the larks head knot. Combining these knots, you will make you very own bottle bag, perfect for carrying your water bottle to your yoga class or your wine bottle to the festival!

We will start by choosing the colour or colours you want to use and cutting the required lengths. 

Before we start making our bags, we will practice the knots until we are confident with tying them. Then, working together, we will follow a pattern and make our bags. 

If we have time at the end, we will use the cut off cords to make a matching keying to hang from our bags. 

The key skills you will learn in this workshop are:

• How to tie a square knot, a lark’s head knot and a wrap knot. 


• How these knots can be used on future projects.  


• How to measure cord for future projects. 


• How to use different macrame cords and which work best for which type of project.

Saturday only

10:30am – 2.30pm with a break from 12-1pm
