A series of 6 lectures on the archaeology of the Roman period locally by Peter Liddle MBE, former County Archaeologist for Leicestershire

Lectures on Thursdays from 2pm - 4pm at Leicester Guildhall:

March 6th: The Late Iron Age and the Roman Invasion
March 13th: Roman Leicester
March 20th: Market Towns, Industry and Roads
March 27th: Roman Countryside
April 3rd: Roman Religion and Burial
April 10th: The End of Roman Leicestershire and Rutland

Prior booking is useful but not essential.

Attend the whole course or just come to individual lectures.

Price: £30 for the series or £6 per lecture.
