Summer Holiday Tuesday Railway Days!

What to do on a Tuesday, in 2022 Summer Holidays?

Abbey Pumping Station have your Summer Tuesdays sorted!

Travel on our Narrow Gauge Railway, being hauled by 'Peter', or one of our other resident locos.

50p per ride (Cash only). Purchase tickets on site, at our Train Station.  

Train rides running between 12pm-4pm on the following dates:

• Tuesdays in July 2022:
  12th, 19th, 26th


• Tuesdays in August 2022:
  2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd

'Leonard the Locomotive' will also be here on site to say hello.

Bring a picnic to enjoy whilst you're here, in our wonderful grounds, either at a picnic table or bring your own picnic blanket.

Alternatively, grab some light refreshments from the 'pop up' Cafe (Cash Only).

Don't forget to have a go on our playground and explore the fabulous objects of industry and technology in the grounds.

Come into the museum to 'pull the chain', on our interactive toilet, explore the magnificent Victorian Beam Engines and enjoy many more exhibits!

Drop in event, entry to the museum and grounds is free.

Docking stations are just minutes walk away on Exploration Drive next to the National Space Centre.

Please note, there is no car parking on site. Nearest parking is at the adjacent pay and display car park in the Space Centre.
