The historic Magazine Gateway opens it's doors for FREE guided tours!

The Magazine Gateway, a building people regularly walk, cycle and drive past, opens its doors for blue
badge guided tours.

Originally a 15th century gateway into the former Newarke religious precinct, this building was later used as a munitions store during the English Civil War. The Guided Tours of the building by Blue Badge Guides includes fascinating architectural features and graffiti dating back to the 16th century.

Tour times: 11am, 12, 1pm and 2pm

Sensible shoes must be worn as there are many steps to climb.
