Free family activity this February half-term!

The ‘Cabinet of Curiosity’ is coming to Beaumont Centre on Saturday 15th February.
Bring your family and friends and join the team from Leicester Museums & Galleries to see and handle fascinating museum objects from the technology and natural history collections. There's something to interest all ages!
Join scientists from the University of Leicester for a hands-on heritage science experience! Use microscopes to compare ancient objects with their modern counterparts and discover creativity in everyday life past and present.
Throughout history, humans have been affected by their environment and exposed to many things that cause illness. Surprisingly, many of these same factors are still causing poor health and illness today. Guess the microbe and understand more about how human cells work to keep us healthy.
Explore the hidden world of tiny creatures like ants, worms, and other minibeasts. Have a go at identifying mystery pests! Engage in interactive experiments, handle real specimens, and uncover the surprising role of insects in archaeology, heritage and health!
