The Leicester Archaeological & Historical Society's (LAHS) activities centre around a lecture programme, publications, historic buildings and research. Each year they publish a series of articles in their annual volume Transactions, which also includes a summary of all archaeological activity which has taken place in the city and county in the previous year. They annually publish the Leicestershire Historian and several Newsletters.
