How to get here

We encourage walking, cycling and the use of public transport to visit our museum venues when possible. All text directions below start at The Clock Tower in Leicester City Centre.

Walking

5 mins walk - With the Clock Tower to your back, face towards the Highcross Shopping Centre and start walking along East Gates, which becomes High Street. Stay left of Café Nero to join Silver Street. Continue along Silver Street, passing The Globe on your right and then straight ahead onto Guildhall Lane. After passing the back of Leicester Cathedral, turn left onto the cobbled St Martins West. The entrance to Leicester Guildhall is on the right.

Cycling

2 min cycle - Starting from the Clock Tower begin to cycle up the High Street before bearing left to join onto Silver Street. Continue up Silver Street which will transition into Guildhall Lane. Follow along Guildhall Lane then turn left directly after the Cathedral onto St Martins West and Leicester Guildhall entrance is on your right.

Driving

Follow signs for Leicester City Centre. Leicester Guildhall is located in the heart of the city centre, within walking distance of most car parks. The nearest large car park is located on St Nicholas Circle, use post code LE1 4LF for Sat Navs.
