Tickets £6.00

Tours will last approximately 1 hour , suitable for ages 10+

To know before you book tickets:

  • Since these are running engines and the tour involves going to the basement, under the running engines, there’s a possibility of droplets of water, oil or grease in the surroundings. This is beyond the control of the organisers or the operators of the engine. Please be aware of this and wear appropriate clothing.

Pre-booking recommended, online or in person/phone at any Leicester Museum and Visit Leicester.

Access requirements: Abbey Pumping Station is not fully accessible: Ramped or Level Access, Accessible Toilet facilities, Platform Lift and Evacuation chairs in use. For these Guided Tours, unfortunately there is not wheelchair access to upper or lower levels of the Beam Engine.
